The Gorge Amphitheater
Oh the Gorge! I love this venue. Perched on the edge of the world, the Gorge is completely secluded. The view is impeccable. The sound resonating off of the gorge walls is exhilarating. The whole experience of being out in the middle of nowhere, listening to your favorite songs, with everyone around you singing along, is completely freeing. There were a couple times I looked around, and I was mesmerized by the unity in the crowd. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, and there are 25,000 of them! There’s a great variety of food and drink vendors. There’s even a convenience store if you forgot anything. ![]()

The Gorge hosts only a few concerts a year but has a great reputation for the annual festivals they put on. Sasquatch, Warped Tour, and Creation fest have brought thousands of people to the Gorge. Dave Matthews and Pearl Jam have tour videos from their shows at the Gorge. It’s one of the most recognized venues in the Northwest.
When you go to the Gorge, camping out is a must. Camping at the Gorge is a great way to spend your weekend. Everyone camping plans on attending the same concert, creating a small sense of community. Family and friends can have a great weekend together while fans get to meet other fans. There are showers and sinks available to campers and plenty of restrooms.
I’d highly recommend going to a festival or a concert at the Gorge. There might be a chance of rain but little chance of a bad time at the Gorge. It’s one of my favorite venues I’ve ever been to.

Crossroads Angel is excited to announce a partnership with IndieHitMaker.com. IndieHitMaker's service fills one of those critical marketing gaps that independent artists have long suffered through. Independent & unsigned bands sell the majority of their CDs at live shows, but most of those live show sales go unreported and untracked. IndieHitMaker provides simple and affordable tools for artists to report live show sales to Nielsen Soundscan, thereby providing access to Billboard charts and the venues, program directors and booking managers who live by those charts.
