The prep:

Finn Riggins is on the road for their spring 2010 tour and Eric and I were texting briefly throughout one of my conferences last Friday to make some final arrangements(what's more important than music right?)  We were trying to figure out plans for SXSW after the big kick-off party in Houston the day I arrive.  A few days later I mentioned on Twitter that I need to get the Finn Riggins Idaho graphic tee to represent our scene and my friends.  Finn Riggins replied that they will get me one when I meet up in Houston/Austin.  Social media at it's best! . 

Now there are only 8 days left until I meet up with RevoltRevolt and Finn Riggins in Houston, TX.  I'm getting pretty excited to be on the road for 18 days and collect information to share with  everyone.  Chris and Ben from RevoltRevolt just stopped by to pick up a few of my tour items so I don't have to pack as much on my plane ride down.  Since this is my first official band tour I have no idea what to pack.  I guess at the end of my trip there will be a discussion thread started by me to share with others on 'what to take vs. what not to take'.

I have a breakdance competition at the Visual Arts Collective this Thursday 3.11.10 and I plan to finish getting promo gear ready and follow-up with my radio contacts for the tour.  This is definitely March Madness.
